World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your equipment is a vital aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as the enchantments of items.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

The upgrade button can be found on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapons

When the weapon is upgraded it will gain a base damage bonus and a scaling factor that influences other stats. The weapon can also gain a number of upgrade components, which provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it is able to be replaced with another, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool on an item.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier, this can be done up to four times.

Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade and is then modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. All of these upgrades can be applied at once and the effects depend on how rare the weapon is.

Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon can cause.

In general, it is advised to improve weapon damage first, followed by armour defense, and then the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrader Mod Upgrades let players enhance the stats of specific weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, like more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor can be upgraded, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.

The majority of armor upgrades boost the Best item upgrader's defense or strength by a small amount. Certain upgrades, however, can lead to significant increases in defense or strength. This is particularly relevant when upgrading epic items.

In addition to increasing the base defense of an item, some upgrades also provide specific abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide effect that are passive and can be useful for example, reducing damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, based on the type of armor. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77, and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade item their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useful. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of damage from poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them beneficial for certain builds. There are other ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration or the challenger trait to reduce total weight.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another effect tier, and can be re-used to increase the potency.

The potion also gets a custom color code that the player can pick by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the particles in the potions.

The water bottle, mundane, thick and awkward potions now have a fresh texture for brewing. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness are now available. Added lingering potions that can be brewed with splash potions or dragon breath and a thick pot with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket

A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace or even a tiny flag that is used to identify a boat's lateen yard. It can also be an gilded trinket attached to the mast of a boat.

This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. This trinket at its current level makes all types of mimics more common and gives every floor an probability of Y% that it has an ebony-colored replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of producing water and grass. At the moment, this trinket can make X% of floors fill with grass or water, but it doesn't affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to help solve hazard rooms.

While it looks like a normal newt's eye, this mysterious item appears to affect your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. At its current level this trinket increases the overall health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants vision on enemies within Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Higher Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave After completing the Mastery Cave, you will be able to find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket which is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reuse the trinket as often as you'd like however it will always have the same effect.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by just a little.
