The GP Unique
It's difficult to find a more stylish hatchback than the GP Unique. It has big intakes, a curved arch and a two-part rear wings. These are features usually reserved for French unicorns.
Thankfully the GP Unique doesn't just look attractive, but also feels fast. The engine is smooth, powerful and its 332lb-ft of torque is delivered with ease below 1,750rpm. It's also a good match with the quick-shifting, six-speed automatic transmission. Mini is extremely focused on lap times, and it's a pity that the GP Unique does not have an automatic transmission.
It's not without flaws. For instance, the GP Unique's passive damping is a bit firm, but it doesn't require much effort. If you drive straight and smooth B road you can easily work the chassis's dynamic limits however, it's a challenge to stay fluid with your inputs. The front end becomes a bit snatchy, and the car is unable to hold its line when under the stress of irregular British bumps.
After you have dialed in the GP Unique, its handling is exceptional. Its front end and body control remind us of the JCW racecar we drove last season. It's an absolute pleasure to drive on a smooth road and when you are in a positive mood.
The chassis of the car feels different from that of the regular MT-09 thanks to its increased torsional rigidity as well as larger axles. The new GP features 24.7 degrees of rake and 108mm of trail, which feels more pronounced on the nose than the R6's - but it also provides incredible stability when you turn.
The PO Generator module is a great feature of GP. This module allows you to review your inventory, the min/max levels you've set for each item and any open POs that your vendors have (i.e. more inventory is coming) and then generates suggested purchase orders that you can forward to your suppliers.
The GP 500
The GP 500 is Airoh’s lightest GP Helmet to date. It helps to reduce neck strain, fatigue, and improve safety by reducing pressure on the shoulders. The shell is aerodynamic, and features a chin-curtain sloper that improves aerodynamics as well as reducing wind buffeting. Its EQRS Quick Release System is similar to the one found on a variety of track-focused motorcycle helmets. This allows emergency services to remove the helmet without causing any harm to the wearer's head.
The GP500 is, like many modern helmets, is Snell and SHARP-certified. It has an SHARP 3-star rating. This isn't the most prestigious rating, but it is nonetheless a great one given that it offers front to back and sides impact protection.
As far as image quality is in question, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The GP500 can project images of up to 4K with amazing clarity. According to BenQ's specifications, it also has a low input lag both in Game Mode and Fast Mode.
It was very accurate in terms color with the color accuracy being very accurate with a DeltaE of only 2.3, which is excellent. It also exhibited superb grayscale performance with clean and distinct shades. The GP500 also displayed some subtle rainbow colors when watching the Adam Project. They were easy to spot, but they did not annoy viewers and did not affect the viewing experience.
The sound quality is also amazing. The GP500 features an independent DSP chip with treVolo psychoacoustic tuning that produces 3D audio effects. It is equipped with an internal quad speaker layout located in the corners of the cabinet. They are designed to create an immersive sound field for everyone regardless of their seating position in the room.
There are many options for connectivity, including HDMI inputs 1, 2 and 3 and an optical Toslink SPDIF for sending native Dolby-Atmos bitstreams to a sound bar that is external. The GP500 features two Type-A USB 2.0 ports to stream content. It also has the 12-volt screen trigger.
The GP 1000
The GP 1000 portable gas monitor is designed to be used in dangerous areas. It comes with a sample probe, micro pump, and an energy pack that runs on four series-connected alkaline batteries. The GP-1000 can directly read up to 25 gases and has a large, intuitive, easy-to-read display. It also features an impressive backlight and datalogging capabilities.
The unit is suitable for a variety of uses like mining and construction. It can help you recognize hazards in the workplace and protect your employees. It can also lower the chance of injuries and property damage. It is a cost-effective solution for your safety concerns.
The GP-1000 is not only an excellent tool for precise measurements, but it can also save you time and money. The modular design of the hoist is based on polygonal connections that allow for quick and easy disassembly. This makes repairs and maintenance simpler and quicker.
This product is essential for anyone looking to enhance their grip or performance. It is made with a textured pattern that adds friction, reducing the chance of slippage. Its soft and comfortable fabric is durable and able to absorb moisture well. It is available in a range of sizes and colors so you can pick the one that fits your preferences best. It is an excellent choice for both beginners and professionals. It is accessible online at a reasonable cost and is shipped in a secure package.
The GP 900
Sceptics might argue that the GP is simply an existing naked XSR900 sporting a Wayne Rainey frock, but the reality is that Yamaha's designers have put their heads together to create a touching and powerful tribute to its legendary sporty heritage. The GP's latest Deltabox swingarm and frame are 55mm taller, however they feel more compact in corners thanks to the altered chassis geometry. Meanwhile, a full-spec 6-axis IMU offers a variety of electronic rider aids for the platform, while KYB suspension is upgraded with a bigger front fork and a longer wheelbase.
The GP's asymmetrically-shaped cowl is a clever trick. A pair of air vents are positioned inside the cowl in order to reduce the pressure inside and disperse heat generated by the motor. This gives a more streamlined look and helps to reduce the bike's centre of gravity. The GP's TFT color display that displays call and message notifications and also offers Garmin StreetCross Navigation and turn-by–turn directions (free the first year) is also an improvement that is welcome.
Regarding rider control the GP provides three pre-set riding modes plus a custom mode that can be manually set by the user. A new set of smartphone-connected technology is also available and the GP having a Y-Connect application for integration with smartphones and media controls as in addition to cruise control and a new USB Type C socket for gadget charging.
There's no question that the GP 900 is an excellent sports heritage-inspired machine however, it's also an ideal commuter or Sunday blaster. The 117bhp CP3 engine is very usable and has a range of power that can be accessed at low revs. Even at speeds on the road, the GP's midrange power is enough to recalculate your time/speed/distance calculation and utterly dissect Google Maps estimated time of arrival. The GP's chassis has the right amount of stiffness - it is not as painfully stiff as an R6 or as light and agile like the TT500. But it's plenty of fun and an absolute blast to ride.
